School Readiness Programs

Tahmoor Early Learning Centre’s School Readiness program provides children with a daily curriculum that is based around the Early Years Learning Framework as well as their individual and group interests. The curriculum constantly evolves through acknowledging each child’s input into the daily activities and experiences. Family and educator input is also used to create and develop our projects.

Starting school is a big step not only for the children but for the families. Our school readiness program is run throughout the day every day of the year. Our programs assist children in building their confidence and love for learning. It is important to us to make learning fun and set the children up for success. Our school readiness program is aimed at getting children ready to transition to big school. It focuses on social emotional skills, self-help skills, maths and literacy skills. We teach the children through play and group times.
