Educational Programs
Tahmoor Early Learning Centre are proud to provide educational age appropriate programs. This allows each individual child to learn and grow, developing them emotionally, socially and academically at a rate that is suitable to their age and ability. Facilitated in beautiful outdoor & indoor learning environments with 3 separate large age appropriate playrooms – 0-2 yrs, 2-3 yrs and 3-5 yrs and 2 outside play areas.
Our Program is developed throughout the four school terms. We use the school holidays to communicate with parents and families to set a new goal for the new term. Your child’s portfolio is communicated to you and your family through our online portal Story Park. Using this application gives families the opportunity to communicate with educators about their child’s learning. Things that would be included in your child’s portfolio include but aren’t limited to:
- Work samples
- Observations
- Photos
- Videos
Here at Tahmoor Early Learning Centre we use and follow the Early Years Learning Framework. The early years learning framework has a strong importance on play based learning. The EYLF help guide children towards the following outcomes:
- Children have a strong sense of identity
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world
- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators
